One to One Training
Sometimes a group class just isn't the right fit for you or your dog. Your dog may need more individual support, your lifestyle may not suit a set class time, or you may simply prefer, or need a more personalised approach.
Our one to one training sessions give you dedicated time with a K9 Behaviourist, allowing us to focus on the specific needs of you and your dog.
We specialise in behavioural training, particularly reactivity, but one to one training can help with much more than behaviour challenges.
We can work with you on:
Reactive behaviour
Excessive barking
Obedience and everyday manners
Control and self-control
Puppy training and foundations
Recall and lead walking
Confidence and engagement
Specific behaviours or challenges you're struggling with at home
And more
Every dog and owner is different, so we don't follow a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to understand what you're struggling with, why it may be happening and what you can do to improve it.
Training Where You Need It.
One to one sessions can take place in different environments depending on what you and your dog need. Sessions can be held at our training facility, in your home, or off-site for practical training such as working on walks.
We always recommend starting with an initial assessment at our training facility. This gives us the opportunity to meet you and your dog in a neutral environment, understand what you're wanting to achieve and assess what approach will give you the best outcome.
From there, we can recommend the most suitable environment and training plan for your dog. Whether you need help with a specific behaviour, want to teach your puppy the right foundations, or simply want to work on your dog's obedience in a more personalised environment, we can tailor the training to you and your goals.
One to one training is a great option if group classes don't work for your lifestyle or your dog's needs. Personalised training. Practical solutions. A plan that works for you and your dog.
Parkavon Dog Training 1 on 1 assessment at Parkavon : $80 assessment fee/ This is for Kerry to assess your dog, before going into a course or starting 1:1 training, to ensure we create a training plan best suited for you and your dogs needs. This is not required but is recommended.
Option A: Parkavon Dog Training 1 on 1 here at Parkavon Facility: $100
Option B: 1 on 1 dog training, in-home/off-site: $200
Note: Parkavon Dog Training 30 minutes is the standard amount of time per 1:1 session. Depending on your dog and the training/behavioural work, any more than this can be a lot for their brains!
